Camping Cudillero to Camping Regalina
Km walked: 35
Km total: 551
Today was spent walking in and out of single track trails through dense and lush woods as we mostly followed the winding highway N-632a. We were offered some great views of the ocean and hillside cliffs on several occasions which was nice. In total we spent probably 8km or so on actual hiking trails, which is sadly a record for the Camino so far. But the trails were pleasent and left me wanting more.
We are camped at a campground in Cadaveu. It’s windy tonight and the air rips through the trees. We are about 2/3rds of the way through the Norte at this point and we should probably arrive in Santiago in about 10 days. In a few days we will pass through the final coastal city, Ribadeo, before turning inland on the final miles to the end.
We met an older pilgrim couple from Seoul, South Korea which was neat. We shared our experience about bike touring in their country, and even slipped in a few Korean words, which they seemed impressed about.
