We slept in and went to breakfast near the hotel. We packed up our things after contemplating staying one more day to relax and watch more of the olympics, but we decided against it. Oregon isn’t going to hike itself.
We got a quick hitch in the freeway on ramp and were hiking by 11. Our bags were very heavy with 5 days worth of food. We hiked 12 miles and are camped by a nice spring. Next stop is Crater Lake National park!
