Biggest day for us so far, 25 miles. The trail was difficult because it was a freaking inferno the majority of the day. It definitely felt like what the fires of hell would be like, so Im going to be a good person from here on out so I don’t end up there.
We are camped at Landers camp with a lot of other hikers. This is the beginning of the 42 mile dry stretch. Supposedly there are some water cashes somewhere. We are going to carry out roughly 8 liters each- I hope it’s enough in this heat. We took a 2 hour break from 1:30 to 3:30 today to get in some shade for the hottest part of the day and that’s what we will probably do tommorrow as well.
