Slept in and got a later start from the Rock Inn. The first half of the day was spent finishing the road walk, which was a quick 5 miles to a connecting trail that brought us back to the PCT. We saw many unusual things on this road walk, including lamas, goats, an ostrich farm, a wolf sanctuary, and Kenny and his two very mild manered pit bulls Bacon and Donut.
We are camping in a shallow valley on top of a mountain. It is very still and quiet here. It’s very chilly- will probably be a little nippy tonight.
