Pretty standard day- a lot of riding. I’m camping out and I’m tired so this will be short tonight.
Made it into Texas today early morning which was cool. I like the scenery here better, more trees and bigger shoulders on the roads.
I’m stealth camped out in the woods near a park a mile from Kountze, Texas. It’s a good spot. I’m meeting up with my friend from Houston tommorrow. He’s going to come pick me up in Shephard- about 45 miles away, so a short day tommorrow. Still need to wake up early to be out of the park by daybreak.
Cool tonight, below 40, about 35. Hard to imagine this is only the 3rd time I’ve set up the tent on this trip. It’s nice though. Three days in a row having to keep up conversations with people your staying with is exhausting. Nice to just chill by myself for tonight and go to bed early.
