Miles Hiked: 22 Total Miles: 147.6 Hard day but beautiful. Passing through Caratunk tomorrow. Caught up with Sponge and Splake. Sorry, too tired and too late to write more. Time to sleep for more hiking in the morning.
AT: Day 8
Miles Hiked: 9.3 Total Miles: 125.6 Didn’t stay in Monson tonight. Pilot and I decided to hike to the next lean-to since we both had enough of town and wanted to get back on the trail. It was a good decision because it was beautiful out and the trail was nice and easy. Grey Beard and Short

Miles Hiked: 10.3 Total Miles: 116.3 Finally made it out of the 100 mile wilderness. It felt good seeing a road and traffic. Called up Lakehouse Lodge for a shuttle and in 20 minutes someone picked up Pilot and I. I’m staying here at the Lakehouse tonight and possible taking a day off tomorrow and staying here

Miles Hiked: 16.3 Total Miles: 86.0 Hard day today. I went up White Cap mountain and had some really good views. I was able to call Carolyn and my parents and let them know everything is okay. It was good talking to Carolyn and seeing what she’s been up to. I was camping alone on the river
